After 5 years, Gylly’s club secretary and one of the founding members, Pat Lord, has advised that she will be stepping down from her position. We are very grateful for all of the hard work and dedication Pat has put into the club. The club wouldn’t be where it is today without her. Thank you Pat.
Also standing down is Club Captain, Sam Steele. After a year in the post, Sam is heading off to University in Northumbria to train in medicine. Sam has put a lot of time and effort into the running of the club, is a respected role model and more notably has been teaching his skills to the Gylly nippers and juniors over the past years. He has represented the club in both surf life saving and triathlon competitions, and after qualifying as a Beach Lifeguard, volunteered for the RNLI Lifeguard service. We all wish you good luck Sam and we’re looking forward to seeing you when you’re back down in December.
To put forward nominations for the committee roles, please email Pat Lord (firstname.lastname@example.org) at least 14 days prior to the AGM.
The committee look forward to seeing you there.
