Penzance Tri 2013

The forecast was for heavy rain and gale force gusts of wind but the seventh Penzance Triathlon still went ahead. The winds, gusting up to 45mph in places (especially over towards St Just), caused a few problems on the bike with competitors having to use all their strength just to stay upright.

Well done to Oliver Stacey and Dan Luke who competed in the race for Gylly. It was Oliver’s first triathlon, and I’m sure is now addicted to the sport. Thanks to all from Gylly who supported the athletes on the day.

“Thanks all for the for the support today, especially Allan Reid for all the coaching…”
Oliver Stacey

Well done to Yvonne Turner and Mounts Bay Harriers for staging another great event.
