Summer Training 2012

Hi all. Below is the updated training schedule for the 2012 summer season. The Monday Turbo and run training at the Dracaener Centre will be on for the next 2 weeks before moving to the beach on 21st May. Also, there is a seperate Masters session this year on a Saturday evening, with the Juniors and Seniors following after. This is a great opportunity for everyone over 30 to give surf life saving a go. Any queries please email Head Coach, Allan Reid (allan@gyllysurf.org.uk).

Monday

  • Open Water Swim – Gyllyngvase Beach | 13+ | 6.00-7.00pm >> (Starts 21st May)
  • Club Run – Gyllyngvase Beach | 13 + | 7.00-8.00pm >> (Starts 21st May)

Wednesday

  • Surf Life Saving Training  – Gyllyngvase Beach/North Coast >> Times to be confirmed/will start later in the season.

Thursday

  • Track Session – Carn Brea Running Track (with Hayle Runners) | 16+ | £2 | 7.00-8.30pm

Saturday

  • Surf Life Saving Training  – Gyllyngvase Beach | £1 | Times below >>

5.00-6.00pm (Masters 30+)
6.00-7.00pm (Juniors and Seniors)

(Throughout the summer the location may change as we train on surf beaches as well, keep an eye on our Facebook page for up-to-date information).

Sunday

  • Surf Life Saving Training  – Gyllyngvase Beach | £1 | Times below >>

10:00am to 11:15am – ages 7, 8, 9 & 10 (first pool session, born in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005)
11:30am to 12:45pm – ages 11, 12 & 13 (second pool session, born in 1999, 2000, 2001)

  • Club Cycle  – Leave from Gyllyngvase Beach | 10.00am-12.00pm (End time may vary)
